Yesterday, to help out a colleague who couldn’t accompany the club, I joined four students who went to the De Marillac Academy for that school’s enrichment program. For an hour each Tuesday, SI students organize and run a lesson or activity with the sixth graders. Yesterday, the SI students helped the middle schoolers make pinhole viewers out of old Pringles cans.
Nobody was cut by the razor blades, and a good time was had by all.
