I was asked to give a presentation to about 100 parents of middle schoolers, discussing some psychology and some technology. Below is the slide deck, minus two videos (a baby easily working an iPad and then confused by a magazine, and a video of a Volkswagen commercial with 5-year-old driving a car):
Though the topic was serious, I tried to make the presentation light-hearted and ultimately up-lifting. Oddly, I was unusually nervous about this presentation because I was, to a certain degree, being child-free, speaking outside of my expertise.
