Transformative Uses of the iPad slidedeck.
I was invited to give a keynote address at the 2014 Click conference, hosted by and at Castilleja in Menlo Park, on the topic of Transformative Uses of the iPad in Education. I struggled more than usual with this presentation because while being paid to talk about one thing, I felt obligated to talk about something different. In the end, I settled on a compromise.
My objectives were to
- highlight ways in which the iPad can foster the evolution of Education, and
- discuss why transformation lies in us – teachers and administrators – not in technology.
I felt that the talk went well, but I do look forward to whatever feedback I get from the conference organizers.
