According to Goodreads, I read 13,271 pages across 43 books in 2013:

Looking at the four 5-star ratings that I gave amongst those 43 books, I’d have to say that my most enjoyable read was Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson, and the best non-fiction was Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly and the Making of the Modern Middle East by Scott Anderson.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the San Francisco Public Library for providing digital versions of books. I would not read nearly so much if I had to buy each book.
Losing Google Reader this year means that I’ve lost track of my RSS feeds, and how many news articles I’ve read. My current RSS provider, Feedbin, which is excellent in all other ways, does not provide stats like that.
All in all, it’s been a great year of reading.
